AL FAWZ INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL is a school that has a fully– equipped study environment with competent staff and teachers who are committed to nurture, encourage and inspire young minds. The school is a member of the AMA Education System. The operations started in September 2014 and since then, Al Fawz has been recognized by the Ministry of Education, Sultanate of Oman. The school started offering Preschool (Kindergarten 1, Kindergarten 2), 1st Grade to 4th Grade and growing annually

The CAMBRIDGE curriculum adopted by the school is based on International standards of achievement in all subject areas, supported by a huge range of co-curricular activities that ensure students have the opportunity to develop fully as individuals. It includes Inquiry-based, hands-on teaching methods and learning strategies geared to individualized instruction.

The AMA Education System’s affiliation to Great Explorations in Mathematics and Science (GEMS), a program of the Lawrence Hall of Science, University of California, in Berkeley, USA enhanced the curriculum offered in Mathematics and Science subjects.
In addition to GEMS, the integration of ROBOTICS as part of the curriculum was also made in IT, Mathematics and Science subjects. These and among other good things aid the school’s performance. The school also adopts the Omani curriculum as prescribed by the Ministry of Education for private schools offering the subjects Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Social Studies.

English is the medium of instruction except for Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. International students take French Language as a second language of study. Computer Literacy is also a strength of the school. The Arabic Language, French and Computer Literacy are offered in all levels starting from Kindergarten 1.

 EV3 Robotics Training held on 8-11 May 2017 at Al Fawz International School.

Students experienced the world of robotics and learned about robots and what it takes to control them. Working in pairs, students  learn to program the EV3 robot to perform precise maneuvers, use sensors to interact with its world and use additional servo motors to perform complex tasks. This introduction to Robotics class focused on design and customization with an emphasis on programming fundamentals.

As Al Fawz International School opens its door to all nationalities in the Sultanate of Oman on Sep-tember 2015, it eagerly welcomes bright young  minds to take part in quality learning experience at the heart of Muscat. For its 2015-2016 academic year opening, it will be offering classes from KG1 to Grade 4. Each claw will accommodate 20-25 stu-dents. Age requirements for each grade level are as follows: KG 1, 3 years and 2 months; KG 2, 4 years and 2 months; Grade 1, 5 years and 2 months; Grade 2, 6 years and 2 months Grade 3, 7 years and 2 months; Grade 4, 6 years and 2 months.

The medium of instruction to be used for Omani students taking up Arabic and Islamic Education will be Arabic. During the course of classes in the earlier mentioned subjects with the locals of Oman, foreign students will have to take Basic Ara-bic, French and Ethics classes for them to be able to keep up with the learning media. The latter will be delivered in the English language.

For each succeeding academic year, Al Fawz Inter-national School will open an additional grade level until it reaches Grade 12 in the academic year 2023-2024.
